That’s the responsibility of the makeup department on a film set. More work goes into filling deep crevices on Hollywood’s aging faces than covering tattoos.

But seeing what he has done he will only get work on teen wolf and thats it. Where has tyler career done after the show versus Dylan
It adds time to the make-up process on top of what's already needed for whatever part he's playing which which takes up more for prep which ultimately slows down production.

Exactly. When an actor is shirtless they have makeup applied anyway. Covering a tattoo is standard in the film industry and they’ve been doing it for decades.

Regarding the tattoos, how much it slows down production depends on the number and size of the tattoos. If the tattoos are relatively few and far between - as they were in Tyler's case when he was on TW even at the end- it does take some extra time to cover them up. But it's doable. But the way he's tatted now, the more likely option is that they would have to do what they do with Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie- which is to remove them digitally in post production- which is time consuming and QUITE expensive. Movie studios have made the calculation that those stars are worth the time. Who's going to do that for Posey? He himself has admitted that he keeps losing acting agents because of the tattoos. They know that every one he adds now is just making him more uncastable. But he's far more interested in doing his music and in his rockstar image than he is in acting. So he really doesn't care.
TW should just cast his brother instead.. They look alike enough for him to have been Posey's stand in on the show and he's a better actor, sports far less ink and is booking more work than his big brother these days.

Maybe the better question is why do people discussing his looks a problem for you?

Clearly it ended up being a problem for him. No major studio is going to let the casting director pick him once they look him up and see him looking a mess on his IG. It's shitty but they want the clean cut "Hollywood Handsome". Think Jacob Eldori, Tom Holland, Timothee Chalamet. I personally don't mind how he looks I think he's still hot af but he just doesn't fit the movie star look. There are exceptions like Johnny Depp for instance but Tyler's talent doesn't match.
My god if homeboy had worthwhile content to like and repost, I'd be the first to swoon about it. Until then, people are allowed to comment and reply to whatever they want. If you don't like, thats on you. There are other place to hang out. The ignore user feature is both free & easy to use.
