One of the best channels on RUclips. Don’t let anyone bring you down.. you clearly put so much love and talent in your videos. Though I am one of those people who hate using my phone to emulate haha. I like my phone to be a phone (among other things) and carry a separate handheld to emulate on… I’m going to need to carry a controller anyways so my view is why not just carry that separate handheld.
I generally prefer a dedicated handheld, but one exception is when I'm on a flight. I bring a full sized bluetooth gamepad and a stand for my phone, and set it up in the little folding table. Using the controller in your lap instead of having to hold your hands up to see the screen makes it a lot more comfortable for long sessions.
Some cons: - telescopic controller usually cost as much as dedicated handheld - it also takes more space, than dedicated handheld, while being of the smartphone (there are some compact solutions, but they are expensive) - you have one battery (your phone), instead of two (phone + handheld) BUT if those points above are not a problem, you play at home, or in the car while waiting for someone, controller is a good option, because some are super comfortable, have nice program features, and your phone performance and screen are most probably much better than some 50$ handheld. I had a Gamesir Galileo G8 for a while, bought it for tablet, tried it, tried it with the phones I had, and sold it. Tablet turned out to be more comfortable with external wireless controller, and phones - see above.
also many controllers drain the mobile battery and you have to remove them all the time....also increased heat on mobiles and most times you have to remove all the time your nice UAG cases etc etc ....good solution for someone that dont want to spend extra but.....handheld > all
Controllers are way cheaper than a handheld especially one that can do what a phone can do. Telescopic and compact like the kenshi are also like $50 or less in a lot of cases. Especially if it go direct from china. A rechargeable battery pack and a controller is waaaaaay cheaper than a several hundred dollar handheld you’d need to buy to get a comparable experience and that solves your one battery problem.
I wholeheartedly agree on using an external controller with tablets. It feels so weird trying to hold a 10+inch tablet like a steam deck. I was at a family reunion and everyone started jumping on Minecraft and I hadn’t played it in forever and didn’t know just how good the cross play was. Bought it for a couple bucks on my iPad and connected a Xbox controller and played it with the fam for hours.

Honestly, I've been using my phone for over a decade now for emulation. It's "blasphemy" to think that you can't or simply shouldn't. I always have a good time and will continue to do so. Thanks for the video TD! Keep up the good work and congratulations on becoming another member of Stubb's family as well!

Dude your video just reminded me the game I used to play non stop when I was little. Adventure Island on NES was like one of the few games my mom got for me and man did I make the most of it. Some of the best memories of my childhood
TechDweeb! I literally wait for your videos to come out and watch yours first before anyone else. You brighten our day, and also, as the official Dweeb leader of the DWEEB LEAGUE! You’re creating an environment where we can talk about what we love. KEEP GOING!
It is because of the quality of phones and the quality of emulation now that I absolutely finally love My Smartphone!! This video perfectly illustrates how awesome phones and emulation are together now!! When the Smartphone first came out I always said "oh I'm not gonna be playing games on that thing or nothing..." Well, it looks like they figured out the secret ingredient. They needed to get all of us old school gamers on board?! Being able to run a modded version of Gran Turismo2, or resident evil one through three, or silent Hill or golden Sun, grand theft, auto vice city stories(with the right stick patch) or any number of amazing games right from your device that you've always have on you is simply amazing!! Being able to cast it to your TV within seconds is Also the icing on the cake! Great video dork !!!! I mean Dweeb!! lol🎉❤🎉
Keep being you and making amazing content. I don’t even play on handhelds, personally I just feel like I’m past that age, and I already play enough video games at home. So I try and not isolate my self from others, like families and friends when I’m outside the house. This is just my own personal take, and in my teenage years where I had more leisurely time having these handhelds would have been a dream.
@TanGoku U dont even need a high end phone lol. Ive started shadows of mordor on my old s10 lite(Sd855), after my poco f3 gave up on me, and it plays real nice on 540p/30 fps medium settings. Poco F3 was a warrior, got it second hand for 120$(700BRL) and finished the entire Bioshock Trilogy there, even the DLCS, GTA IV+ DLCS with over 40h of gameplay, and many more games when Mobox was on hype, now with Winlator with a beatiful interface, plus xipunt support, i think PC emulation on Android its decent enough to come to mainstream and be more know, like dont be limited to GBA/DS/PS1 era or even PS2/GC, we are on PS3/PS4 games being able to run on phones now!
I am but a casual gamer, but I do find your videos/content both helpful and quite entertaining. I have learned some useful tips tricks and whatnots from your videos. Keep up the great work. I know the effort it takes to put together a video. I do apprecieate your channel.

So, I bought a Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact from AliExpress for $60, and a BSP-D8 telescopic controller for $15. The phone has a SnapDragon 845 and is a beast so far. As a phone, it’s not a good experience because the $60 version is locked to Japanese carrier “Docomo” (there is a global version that is around $110) But I didn’t buy this to be a phone, I bought it to be a dedicated handheld. And I’m glad I did, for $75, there is no comparison in price to performance
I love your channel. Haters are haters, and most of them are just envious. While I am not intending to buy a handheld anytime soon, your channel brightens my day.
This was a pretty awesome video, man. I think a good video idea (maybe depending on how well this video does) would be exploring the different phone controllers that are out there. Like telescopic (Backbone), joy-con style split (Razer Kishi 1), clip-on to controller, etc.
4:20 woah, ok so as a Retroid Pocket 2s owner and mainly switch user, no joke having a video up to watch on the screen while playing on a phone seems like a huge actual point! Gonna give it a try

Getting a redmagic with left and right touch sensor bumpers is probably the most appealing choice ever for mobile gaming, but I'd still use a kishi or a backbone controller
Thumbs up for the intro, love the hilarious part of your Videos, TechDweeb. 2:07 Love to See wipeout Pure Featured but without shoulder buttons its Not possible to play on a bare Phone I suppose Main reason I don't use my Phone for Emulation is I can't turn Off radiation or whatever it is that connects to the GPS and stuff. I Heard even flightmode doesnt let you Turn it Off.
I tried using my phone with an 8bitdo controller and a 3d printed phone mount for a while, and realized I just didn't enjoy it. Screen controls are always less than desirable, and using a controller means a less-than-stable phone mount, and a phone+controller isn't any less bulky than a phone+handheld. That and I kept getting pulled away by phone stuff (texts, social media, emails, youtube notitications from my buddy Techdweeb) and when I want to play, I want to get away from all those distractions (well, except for you Techdweeb 🧡)
Well, soon you will have the MCON phone controller and your phone has the "don't disturb" and "airplane mode" so you don't get distracted. There, all your problems solved...😬
"These screens are all too small for my Gen X eyes, dammit!", shouted the angry old gamer. The old man then continued to ramble on incessantly: "I wonder what are my best options are for larger screen handhelds?"
Man, I actually laughed a real dirty laugh at that phone life hack, well played, that's not too easy, and beyond the gag its self, it's masterfully pulled off, one of those "anyone can say this joke but somehow it's only funny when X did it" situations. Stumbled into this channel and few other greats from comparing all the options and coming to the conclusion of the RP5 (it's getting delivered tomorrow I'm so excited!) and while they're great quality this is really good quality and also great humour and got its theme and gimmick and pulls it off masterfully and skirting the line where it's easy to forget and fully buy into it all. It really does remind me of some 80s cartoon character has a RUclips channel, Idk why I get heavy Ed, Edd 'n Eddy vibes haha. Keep it up love it and thanks for making me laugh and helping me keep the excitement high for my device and everything retro with these videos from the heart. I normally would find channels with similar gimmicks cringe, and that's another example of what I mean by this channel masterfully skirting the lines, it's just fun and feels really genuine and heartfelt, creative and doesn't feel fake or like its beating a dead horse, and uh.. I guess I "glazed" oh well glaze out
I have an s23 which will do gc/ps2/3ds/switch, and I use a gamesir x2s bluetooth for its smaller profile in pocket and being bluetooth means I don't Have to be in telescopic mode so I can set the screen down if I want. How's your gamecube coming along? I just got my flippy drive and kaico hdmi out working on mine, fun stuff. Cheers!
Fastest like ever, 5 seconds in and you show the Neverending Story. The part where Atreju pulls Artax out of the swamp felt much more intense in the book. We had to read it at school and it actually got me into reading when I previously hated books. I watched the movies at the same time and started playing Crystals of Arborea on Amiga. While the latter was not related, having been in that mood from reading the book, this is the RPG from that time I remember most by today.
Yea I have a couple of those telescopic controllers but I nvr feel like they’re quite as good as an actual handheld. I am however rly looking forward to that new sliding MCON controller that turns ur phone into like a psp go/xperia type thing. That I’m genuinely excited for and feel like I’d game on my phone a lot more with that kind of setup.
haters because they jealious they dont have one lol boss ur videos amazing got me so very into this hobby retro gaming handheld collection xD i have seen lot ppl same as me from the reviews on amazon they mention they made the order after watched techdweeb xD
I literally have the newest Samsung Galaxy S25 and I still just love having a pretty much the same hardware packed into Retroid Pocket 5. It's just better to have a dedicated device for such things. You're not bound by storage capacity, battery and you don't share the multitasking paralysis the phones put on me. I feel bad for using my phone for gaming, because I'm gonna need the battery for the whole day. On Retroid, I can play till it's dead. Like... when I'm using my phone, it's constantly popping up with notifications, messenger, work etc... And it usually ends with me just scrolling reels after 10+ minutes instead of gaming... Also, putting the controller on the phone is just such a hassle it's kind of a barrier that needs a bigger motivation. Retroid, you just pick it up and play... Having a dedicated device, with launcher that's packed with games is just better for me... Even though I pretty much paid double the money... The people that complain "why not just use a phone" reminds me of "why not just play on PC" when talking about PS5/Xbox, because everyone already has a PC, why pay for an extra hardware? Well, for some folks it's just better to separate those two.
@@janwendtland8504 You're right. I've had S23 before I bought the S25 and that one had the same CPU. It actually proves my point even more, because I don't actually care or notice the CPU power in my phone because it's mainly for Camera and everyday tasks. And even though my phone is much more powerful, I'd still rather use RP5. I have no problems with running Android games and with retro games, the more demanding "retro" systems still have more problems with compatibility rather than power.
@@jjacha As long as the system can be emulated without hiccups, the RP5 is a beautiful device. But in a few years, when you have a new smartphone, the S25 is still poweful enough to emulate alot more, than the RP5 can. So wouldn't it be a viable option to get a landscape-controller and use your old phone as a dedicated handheld device? I know, that's an ongoing discussion, but for me, I settled with a Trimui smart Pro for retro games and a ROG Ally as my main PC/emulation machine atm. My old Realme 8 is getting replaced with a S24 ultra in the next days, so I always think, that a controller is a nice way to put your old smartphones to good use. I won't take the Ally with me, if it wasn't for longer trips.
TechDweeb, you are so charming and your videos so funny, even if I someday leave the retro handheld scene, I'll be sure to keep watching your videos. It's why I watched this whole video despite having no intentions of ever using my phone for emulation. I can't say the same about retro corps, and that's no shade to them, but a compliment to you. Have a most lovely, dweeby day.
I just got my AYANEO Pocket Evo (and LOVE IT, thanks to your comparison video to the Portal) because I got tired of my battery on my phone getting destroyed! And I can’t stand on screen controls!!!!😂
Hey, you do you, can't please everyone all the time, but you can please some of the people some of the time. Do what makes you happy as long as it's not hurting others. Funny how those rules we learn as kids still apply in the world today, I just wish they were still taught
Glad you finally came around. I was using a Z Fold 3 with game sir until recently. Big screen gaming. And the aspect ratio was awesome for older games. It played many switch games just fine. I think the Z Fold 5 or 6 would handle many XBox 360 and PS3 games if emulation was good enough. The power is crazy. As to having to carry around "extra" stuff, I have to carry my phone. So a retro game console is already extra. The gamesir is an extra that is totally worthwhile in many situations. I just wish it were more pocketable.
Three very big problems with "just use your phone".. 1) putting that much strain on your phone's battery will degrade it faster than the normal 2/4 years use. 2) 99% of modern phone do not support a MicroSD card anymore. 3) Unless you are very proactive with setting up "Do Not disturb" profiles on your phone, texts, calls or anything can pull you out of the gaming experience.. if I'm going to sit down and game I want to be disconnected from social media and the internet in general... And one more bonus... 4) if you're going to use your phone you'll have to carry a separate controller, whereas I can just carry an Odin 2 and have everything in one while having none of the downside listed above...
99% of phones dont support micro sd? what? thats not even close to true. if i go on gsm arena and search for phones release since 2022, and only filter based on Has an sd card slot vs doesn't. theres 1142 with an sd slot, vs 790 without.
If I upgrade my phone (and I want to, this year), I can just use my old phone as a gaming handheld... Buying a bluetooth controller will turn it into an emulation device.
Try AAA Pc games on android smartphone using winlator , gamefusion , horizon , mobox, etc . Also try out Nintendo switch emulator , there a lot of Nintendo switch emulators for android smartphones
the best part about this video is the shoutout to the shanwan mini controller. I've seen those on aliexpress, but never purchased due to the lack of reviews. Next sale, I'm grabbing 4 so I can play arcade anywhere. I can cast my phone to a TV over wifi and have 4 player action in a myriad of supported games. Arcade and SNES being the immediate standouts
I love you for this, and so does my wallet. Way to be positive and send good vibes. I really dig android sometimes and even the cheap TV boxes can be great for emulation. I like to use an IBM Model M keyboard to play pico-8 and dos games so game on fellow dweeb! Thanks for everything ya do.
MR. Sujano sent me. I'm amazed with the impressive effort that emulator devs bring new ways for us to play our favorite games. Using my phone to play something like Super Smash Bros. is more convenient than say a Steam Deck. Thanks!
@TechDweeb thank you! Have a wonderful weekend :) Ps. What's the schmup you were showing? I'm a sucker for them! Edit2: phone buddies! What's the case you're using?
The reason I don't use my phone for emulation (as awesome as it is) is because it will then drain the battery for phonecalls etc, and also there's the chance I will get disturbed with phonecalls etc on that same screen . I also don't like one more reason to be glued to my phone (ironic, I know, since I play videogames on handhelds which are more screens).
I don't know, I find it easier to pull myself away from a handheld than a phone. Also everything on the handheld is something you chose to see, not something an algorithm decided you'll like or in some cases hate.
Sorry came back to say that I love your longsleeve shirt, couldn't stop looking at the sleeves. That would probably be my favorite Halloween Eve shirt hehe. I know this may not be the type of comment you expected but, just wanted to say it.
true to some point. also, i tried considering this thought, but, after some time, i still prefer having a separate device for gaming and communication/entertainment device.
I been doing this with a telescopic controller for a while now. It's just a $60 Moto G Stylus from Walmart, and I can play everything up to PSP. I can play a small handful of PS2 games as well.
But my phone can last more than 10 hours of Snes or more than 5hours of PS2 emu. Many great offline games are ported to mobile, also. So why not? Technology is awesome nowaday. Just open your mind 😊
I might already own the best handheld, but that's not going to stop me from buying more!

if those points above are not a problem, you play at home, or in the car while waiting for someone, controller is a good option, because some are super comfortable, have nice program features, and your phone performance and screen are most probably much better than some 50$ handheld.
I had a Gamesir Galileo G8 for a while, bought it for tablet, tried it, tried it with the phones I had, and sold it. Tablet turned out to be more comfortable with external wireless controller, and phones - see above.
Great points
A bspd3 cost like $10. Very usable and you don't care if it gets lost or damaged. Only need to worry about 1 electronic device.
also many controllers drain the mobile battery and you have to remove them all the time....also increased heat on mobiles and most times you have to remove all the time your nice UAG cases etc etc ....good solution for someone that dont want to spend extra but.....handheld > all
Controllers are way cheaper than a handheld especially one that can do what a phone can do.
Always return for the fresh gamer chat!! Literally the only reason I'm tuned in, this guy sounds like a real tech dweeb I can trust. TECH DWEEB is The only person I would trust with retro gaming. Prove me wrong
Another quality upload, also screw those haters. Let them start a RUclips channel and get attacked there. I appreciate your channel and for putting yourself out there. Your awesome
"goon out on Tik Tok" is wild
He's right, he's out of line, but he's right.
Apparently I didn't understand what "goon out" actually meant (it was much milder in my mind). Now that I know I'm not comfortable leaving that in there so I cut that bit :S
@@TechDweeb lame
@@TechDweeb Dang I missed the gooning bit 1984
Man, your sense of humor is great, you make me laugh all the time.
All your tests, reviews and advice, show real knowledge, dedication and passion.
And the best thing, as far as I'm concerned, is the fact that you are really sharing something, not just showing yourself.
Keep doing what you do.
Thanks so much for saying so
“Learn the difference dork” made me cackle 😂
I was already thinking about this exact topic, this video came at the perfect time! Thanks man!
TechDweeb, we urgently need a video on how to make a cool smartphone design like yours (3:17)! It looks amazing
Check the on-screen note at 01:27. I'll make a video someday :D
I think it's Nova launcher and desaturate icon pack!
Honestly, I've been using my phone for over a decade now for emulation. It's "blasphemy" to think that you can't or simply shouldn't. I always have a good time and will continue to do so. Thanks for the video TD! Keep up the good work and congratulations on becoming another member of Stubb's family as well!
Thanks! And I hope you win!
I came across your channel after I saw you being active inside the ES-DE theme builder community. Thanks to your videos I was able to pick up a few devices that allowed me to test my theme across multiple aspect ratios + sizes. I really enjoy your presentation format- thanks again!
I wonder how many of your viewers know what a 1 (900) number is lol. Great deep cut
KEEP GOING!
Thanks so much buddy. I will!
It is because of the quality of phones and the quality of emulation now that I absolutely finally love My Smartphone!!
This video perfectly illustrates how awesome phones and emulation are together now!! When the Smartphone first came out I always said "oh I'm not gonna be playing games on that thing or nothing..."
Well, it looks like they figured out the secret ingredient.
I mean Dweeb!! lol🎉❤🎉
I'm proud of you son!❤
Keep being you and making amazing content. I don’t even play on handhelds, personally I just feel like I’m past that age, and I already play enough video games at home. So I try and not isolate my self from others, like families and friends when I’m outside the house. This is just my own personal take, and in my teenage years where I had more leisurely time having these handhelds would have been a dream.
And With Winlator you can Emulate some PC games like GTA V with the power of Snapdragon 8 Elite (Red Magic 10 Pro or Samsung S25 Ultra)
Damn cool my s25 ultra coming soon. Might as well try that when mine arrive.
@chillingdog4139 should have gone with 24u. Everything except the SOC on the 25u is a downgrade.
Like the poco f6?
Theres a youtube video of a guy playing fallout 4 on a s24. Only 30 fps but still solid.
I am but a casual gamer, but I do find your videos/content both helpful and quite entertaining. I have learned some useful tips tricks and whatnots from your videos. Keep up the great work. I know the effort it takes to put together a video. I do apprecieate your channel.
anytime you dare to be something, people will notice because you're not blending in. you become seen, and people who hate you will see you, and that's when you know you've made it.
i love your channel. ig it wasn't made for them, it was made for me
Thanks for saying so buddy. I appreciated hearing that
So, I bought a Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact from AliExpress for $60, and a BSP-D8 telescopic controller for $15. The phone has a SnapDragon 845 and is a beast so far.
As a phone, it’s not a good experience because the $60 version is locked to Japanese carrier “Docomo” (there is a global version that is around $110)
But I didn’t buy this to be a phone, I bought it to be a dedicated handheld.
And I’m glad I did, for $75, there is no comparison in price to performance
Russ has dispatched his ninjas after that intro.
Bro just keep making videos , I really really appreciate your content and the efforts you put in it
Will do!
The 8bitdo Ultimate Mobile Gaming Controller is indeed awesome with premium feel. Works on PC too.
4:20 woah, ok so as a Retroid Pocket 2s owner and mainly switch user, no joke having a video up to watch on the screen while playing on a phone seems like a huge actual point! Gonna give it a try
I find your videos amazing and you are really funny with your character and the way you are explaining through the video.
Those haters have no shame or charisma to even comment like this and this is why they are the real losers in life who just can comment online.
Keep it up Dweeb!
Thanks buddy!
We love you Mr Dweeb!
Great video, and yes a phone is great for gaming but nothing quite grasps the gaming feel of a good old handheld!
Keep up the good work tho dude ✌🏼
My first emulation console was my phone (an Android Realme 7), after this, I found RetroGameCorps, TechDweeb and Mr Sujano and now I'm on my way to buy my second emulation hand held console.
Love all 3 channels and I've learnt a lot! Thanks!
I own a realme 7 as my secondary device, did you install a custom rom on it ? Could you tell me about the games that worked and the ones that didn't.
@@cyanidevitamins nope, still using the orginal OS. I can run everythng up to PS2, some GC games with some lower FPS and even some simple Switch games as Undertale, Cuphead and Sea of Stars

thanks for the gigglebytes :D
Getting a redmagic with left and right touch sensor bumpers is probably the most appealing choice ever for mobile gaming, but I'd still use a kishi or a backbone controller
ive been contemplating the 8bitdo ultimate mobile controller all week, then this guy talks about it.... im buying
Thumbs up for the intro, love the hilarious part of your Videos, TechDweeb.
2:07 Love to See wipeout Pure Featured but without shoulder buttons its Not possible to play on a bare Phone I suppose
Main reason I don't use my Phone for Emulation is I can't turn Off radiation or whatever it is that connects to the GPS and stuff. I Heard even flightmode doesnt let you Turn it Off.
Lenovo legion Y700 2023 edition with gamesir G8 plus +1TB microsd.
Never look back.
Hey man, keep doing your thing 👌 👍 💪 👏 🙌
@TechDweeb Don’t worry about those USB-A holes, USB-C holes and headphone holes. 😂
I love using my phone for retro gaming, but nothing beats the niche and nostalgia of a handheld.
Gameboy days were incredible.
Well said 🤓
Well, soon you will have the MCON phone controller and your phone has the "don't disturb" and "airplane mode" so you don't get distracted. There, all your problems solved...😬
Thanks techdweeb for all the videos they're awesome
"These screens are all too small for my Gen X eyes, dammit!", shouted the angry old gamer. The old man then continued to ramble on incessantly: "I wonder what are my best options are for larger screen handhelds?"
Legion GO or OneX X1 👍
AV out to a mini projector? I think some phones can do that. or not AV out but there are connectors that will go to mini projectors.
Cheers!
Watching your videos feels like RUclips premium plus
"Maybe you want to do that RUclips picture-in-picture so you can watch a Techdweeb video and game at the same time."
Damn, this guy is funny 😂😂😂
I like your videos. they are funny and informative. keep it up bro
I like having dedicated handhelds too much to make my phone one, but I might make my old IPhone 13 a gaming device just for the Hell of it.
That I’m genuinely excited for and feel like I’d game on my phone a lot more with that kind of setup.
yes
Bro I don’t comment on ur shyt but I love your vids your style you’re unique an authentic keep being u ❤
Thanks for the comment buddy 🧡
haters because they jealious they dont have one lol
boss ur videos amazing
got me so very into this hobby retro gaming handheld collection xD
i have seen lot ppl same as me from the reviews on amazon they mention they made the order after watched techdweeb xD
You have a really healty sense of humor, and your videos are so much fun
You're right besides one big point: The S25 8 elite is waaaay more powerful than the 865 in the RP5.
Mr. Sujano sent me here (Though I love your videos for a very long time.) Love your stuff, man. Keep on rocking, m8!
Welcome! Have a fluff 🐱
Are you me?? Bro same setup playing adventure island!
Ayaneo is indeed leading the development of handhelds.
Tech dweeb and Mrs sujano are great channels
Hey, you do you, can't please everyone all the time, but you can please some of the people some of the time.
Do what makes you happy as long as it's not hurting others.
Funny how those rules we learn as kids still apply in the world today, I just wish they were still taught
I'm convinced adults are just kids pretending to have things figured out.
U are hilarious. ANYONE who disagree doesn’t have a good sense of humor
Love your channel big dog ❤❤
@@ge2719 also filter by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or Gen 3.
This video is an lol to ppl like you. Cheers to your setup lol

Yessss thank you for this my friend
Uh oh, RGC legal team, gonna be coming after the dweeb for this one
the best part about this video is the shoutout to the shanwan mini controller.
Why you had to bring Artax into this? That's still makes me sad. Still good video.
Your video is just such a high quality, thank you for sharing!
Bro bro your best we like that's why we are with you don't care stupid people everywhere
MR. Sujano sent me. I'm amazed with the impressive effort that emulator devs bring new ways for us to play our favorite games. Using my phone to play something like Super Smash Bros. is more convenient than say a Steam Deck.
Thanks!
If the Dweeb offers you the use of his phone... Refuse. 🤢😂
Hello Techdweeb! Thanks for dropping a video!
Dweebs are the caviar of nerds
TechDweeb, keep on going! I love your ASMR-ish voice :)
Also you should make a separate video on phone controllers, there are too many choices.
Great idea!
@TechDweeb thank you! Have a wonderful weekend :)
Ps.
I also don't like one more reason to be glued to my phone (ironic, I know, since I play videogames on handhelds which are more screens).
that's a great point. phone batteries do suck
I don't know, I find it easier to pull myself away from a handheld than a phone.
Also everything on the handheld is something you chose to see, not something an algorithm decided you'll like or in some cases hate.
Phones gave a game mode to bl9ck out interruptions.
Sony phones have charging and use separate so you won't be draining the battery while it's charging.
Great Video as always!
My brother in retro gaming, my phone is neither clicky, nore squishy, it has no CFW, and fails the contra test. 😅
Have you tried Peanut Butter?
Sorry came back to say that I love your longsleeve shirt, couldn't stop looking at the sleeves. That would probably be my favorite Halloween Eve shirt hehe. I know this may not be the type of comment you expected but, just wanted to say it.
true to some point. also, i tried considering this thought, but, after some time, i still prefer having a separate device for gaming and communication/entertainment device.
01:34 LMFAO. You know Mr Techdweeb aint no sellout! Also lol'd at artax sinking scene :D
I been doing this with a telescopic controller for a while now. It's just a $60 Moto G Stylus from Walmart, and I can play everything up to PSP. I can play a small handful of PS2 games as well.
Your custom theme looks super cool 😎. I'll def give it a try soon
I love it bc when I started gaming my pappaw had an amber monitor and a green monitor :D
Phones are for texting, phone calls and checking emails. Not for normie gaming. Killing batteries while doing so.
Saving battery is clutch.
I could use my phone but I don't want to.
I only have a low end handheld. It's okay for me. I don't need every possible newer game with me.
But my phone can last more than 10 hours of Snes or more than 5hours of PS2 emu. Many great offline games are ported to mobile, also. So why not? Technology is awesome nowaday. Just open your mind 😊
Add a phone cooler?
